Life WILL Confront you!

Life can be both a wonderful adventure providing us with moments of joy, excitement and wonder. Don't get me wrong, there can also be hurt, worry and fear. In fact, we crave and need the ebb and flows that weave the experience of living otherwise we become BORED, STUCK and RESTLESS which often turns into behaviours that don't serve us, don't work in our favour and result in BAD DECISIONS. How many times have YOU or people you know done something out of pure frustration, anger or even BOREDOM only to regret their poor choices? I'm writing this post from a particularly personal perspective today because life has presented me with a challenge that has come as a complete surprise and touched a family member that will bring tough days ahead. It was a reminder that things can turn in an instant and that you need to always be GRATEFUL for what you have and the people in your life- TELL them, SHOW them and APPRECIATE THEM whenever you can! I remember an old mentor joking asking me "When should you tell your wife you love her? BEFORE someone else does!". There's a lot of truth to that statement and if you are taking for granted that people 'JUST KNOW' or there's always tomorrow, then I am here to tell you to LEAVE NO DOUBT about it! The only way to know you are living is if you have the GOOD with the BAD because a full life will bring both- we all love surprises until we get one we DON'T WANT and then we call them PROBLEMS! How you choose to face them makes all the difference in the world! You can be a VICTIM or you can be a VICTOR! Choose today to TELL THOSE YOU LOVE what they mean to you and live in such a way where FAILURE is not an option! If you're going through a personal storm or someone you love, BE STRONG and BE POSITIVE- YOU WILL GET THROUGH THIS!
